    Skripsi ini meneliti tentang Korelasi Tindakan Punishment Dalam Bentuk Hukuman Roani Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa MA Darul Ulum Waru Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi dalam diri siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran di kelas, sehingga proses pembelajaran terkesan monoton, hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya pendekatan yang dilakukan guru terhadap siswa. Karena apabila guru melakukan pendekatan kepada siswa, otomatis guru akan mengetahui dan memahami setiap permasalahan yang ada dalam diri siswa. Siswa merasa diperhatikan, sehingga mereka akan lebih terbuka kepada gurunya, dan dapat menyebutkan kelebihan dan kelemahan yang ada dalam dirinya mengenai kesulitan yang mereka hadapi pada mata pelajaran tertentu, selain itu konsentrasi dan perhatian terhadap pelajaran di kelas sangat diperlukan demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Untuk itu guru dapat melakukan pendekatan kepada siswa, sehingga mereka termotivasi untuk mengikuti pelajaran tersebut. Atas dasar itulah peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian tentang Pengaruh Tindakan Punishment Dalam Bentuk Bimbingan Roani Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa MA Darul Ulum Waru Sidoarjo. Pertanyaan yang ingin dijawab dalam penelitian ini adalah : 1. Bagaimana tindakan punishment dalam bentuk hukuman rohani terhadap MA Darul Ulum Waru Sidoarjo? 2. Bagaimana motivasi belajar siswa MA Darul Ulum Waru Sidoarjo? 3. Adakah korelasi tindakan punishment dalam bentuk hukuman rohani terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa MA Darul Ulum Waru Sidoarjo? Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan data berupa angka-angka sebagai alat untuk menemukan keterangan mengenai apa yang ingin diketahui. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi yakni seluruh kelas VII C yang berjumlah 40 siswa yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Adapun metode pengumpulan datanya adalah observasi,angket, dokumentasi. Data di analisa dengan metode deskriptif berdasarkan kategori, untuk data kuantitatif dengan product moment. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan antara variabel X (Tindakan Punishment) dan variabel Y (Motivasi Belajar Siswa) diperoleh angka korelasi 0,759 yang berarti kuat. Dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya terdapat pengaruh antara tindakan punishment dalam bentuk bimbingan rohani terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa MA Darul Ulum Waru Sidoarjo

    MODEL PENALARAN INTUITIF SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA

    Kurikulum pendidikan di Indonesia, telah memberikan isyarat yang tegas bahwa dalam belajar matematika siswa hendaknya dilatih untuk mempertajam aktifitas berpikir dan bernalarnya melalui proses penyelesaian masalah (termasuk pengambilan keputusan secara tepat dan cepat) dengan serangkaian aktifitas berpikir, diantaranya melibatkan berpikir imajinatif, prediktif dan intuitif. Beberapa model penelaran intuitif yang sering digunakan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika adalah model implicit (tacit), model diagrammatic, model analogy, dan model paradigmatic. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasikan karakteristik model penalaran intuitif siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Selalnjutnya peneliti memilih dua siswwa sebagai subjek penelitian yaitu BS mewakili kelompok siswa berprestasi tinggi dan NB mewakili kelompok siswa berprestasi sedang. Melalui kegiatan subjek dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika dan dilanjutkan wawancara secara mendalam untuk mengungkap karakteristik model penalaran intuitif mereka. Secara umum model penalaran intuitif yang mereka gunakan dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika diantaranya adalah model tacit/implisit, model diagramatic dan model analogy.     The Continuity and the Culture Change of Pesantren in South Sumatra

    This article entitled culture of pesantren (madrasah boarding schools) in South Sumatra. This article is the result of research in Pesantren Nurul Islam Ogan Ilir South Sumatra. It is based on the fact that many pesantren graduation create academicians from the Kiayi or Ulama. Therefore, this paper describe the characteristics of the culture of madrasah schools from anthropology-sociology aspects of education, with a phenomenological approach to research subjects are madrasah chairman, board of teachers, students and community supporters. The data collection techniques used documentation study, observation and in-depth interviews, and analysis of data using qualitative descriptive, with triangulation and contrasting techniques. Applying local knowledge systems in boarding school curriculum and integrated with Madrasah boarding school curriculum. Orientation discipline tends towards positive law than the laws of Personality Syara’. Clothing the students follow a uniform generally used in madrasah. For students wear clothes instead of the veil of windings. Artistic activities undertaken include: litany, muhad Barzanji, Tilawah al-Qur’an, calligraphy, and drum band. Artikel berjudul budaya pesantren (sekolah berasrama madrasah) di Sumatera Selatan. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian di Pesantren Nurul Islam Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan. Hal ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa banyak lulusan pesantren melahirkan akademisi dari kiayi atau Ulama. Oleh karena itu, makalah ini menggambarkan karakteristik budaya dari sekolah madrasah dari aspek antropologi-sosiologi pendidikan, dengan pendekatan fenomenologis dengan subyek penelitian kepala madrasah, dewan guru, siswa dan masyarakat sekitar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan studi dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara mendalam, dan analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan triangulasi dan teknik kontras. Menerapkan sistem pengetahuan lokal dalam kurikulum pesantren dan terintegrasi dengan kurikulum sekolah berasrama Madrasah. Orientasi disiplin cenderung ke arah hukum positif dari hukum-hukum syara'. Pakaian para siswa mengikuti seragam pada umumnya yang digunakan di madrasah. Untuk siswa memakai pakaian bukan kain.     This study aims to determine the continuity and change of tradition Pesantren, Study about Network Main Pesantren and Alumni Pesantren in Kabupaten OKU Timur, Sumatera Selatan. This study is a Islamic Educational Sociology research, especially in history of intellectual and Islamic educational institutions in OKU Timur. The approach of continuity and change considers that social phenomena. The result shows that there are three main boarding schools in OKU Timur as a source of tradition pesantren, such as 1). Pesantren Sriwangi. 2). Pesantren Lebak Kajang Lubuk Harjo, Kecamatan Semendawai Suku III, and 3). Pesantren Sukaraja. The three boarding schools are source for the tradition pesantren for more than 20 boarding school alumni in OKU Timur.     Factors Affecting the Use of the Learning Management System inUniversities (A Case Study in Indonesia University of Education). The purpose ofthis paper is to find out factors that affect the USAge of the Learning ManagementSystem (LMS) in in Indonesia University of Education. Indonesia University ofEducation has been built LMS to support learning processes. The focus is on factorsaffecting the use of LMS in supporting effective and efficient learning processes. Inthis research the writer used Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to find outthose factors. The data were collected using the survey technique and wereanalyzed by means of the multivariate statistic method. The result of this researchconcluded that the factors of Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use(PEOU), Intention to Use (ITU), Actual Usage Behavior (AUB) significantly affectedthe effective and efficient use of LMS in supporting learning processes

    DEVELOPING ISLAMIC-CONTENT BASED READING COMPREHENSION MATERIALS FOR ISLAMIC HIGHER EDUCATION

    This study was motivated by the needs for an appropriate reading comprehension material for the students of the English Education Department (EED) in Islamic Higher Education (1)to describe the profile of the present textbooks used by EED in IHE; (2)to describe the quality of the present textbooks used in EED of IHE; (3) to get the deeply information on the needs to design ICRCM;(4) to construct the prototype model of ICRCM; and (5) to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the prototype model. This study has used R&D which was conducted in three phases. The first was the exploration phase which consists of evaluating the quality of present textbooks used in IHE in West Sumatera, and to analyze the needs for the ICRCM textbook. The second was the prototype development phase where the prototype model was constructed, evaluated, and tried out. The last was expert validation in which experts and practitioners were involved to review the model in order to help the refinements. The results of the research indicated that the qualities of the present textbooks were fair. Meanwhile, the result of need analysis pointed out that the lecturers, students, and heads of the EED need the model of ICRBM. In the prototype devel opment phase, the draft of ICRCM was carefully constructed. It was designed using skill-based reading, authentic materials, Islamic-character building, intensive & extensive reading activities, and collaborative learning. Furthermore, the results of field tryout revealed that the students enjoy reading ICRCM in the classroom. They felt that they were motivated to read ICRCM. Finally, the results of experts’ and practitioner’s judgment showed that the reading textbook needs to be revised in terms of mechanical aspect, grammatical points and teacher’s guide. The research findings conclude that the use of ICRCM in the IHE context empirically can improve students’ motivation to read, increase their reading performance, and build their Islamic characters. These findings recommend that ICRCM could be adopted as RC materials in teaching RC at EED of IHE in West Sumatera because it had strong pedagogical justification
